missing reader

poetry_of_nature

don’t look round
By your side
is a reader who reads what you’re reading
When you read the word bell
he hears carillons
Even as you read the word sea
he’s rocking on a sailboat
When you read the word lamp
It radiates light
Don’t look round
There’s a reader with you, in you
He reads what you read
Now he’s gone
and left you perplexed
Now you’re gone
he must find you
Will you two ever meet?
